Veterinary Science

This self-paced, online course provides a foundation in veterinary science and animal care. Students will explore animal behavior, anatomy, body systems, safety, disease, parasites, feeding, restraint, and general care. Using virtual reality, students will practice equipment identification, standard veterinary procedures, prescription handling, and more. Upon completion, students will earn a digital badge in Veterinary Science and be better prepared for the Veterinary Science certification exam.

This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course that includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
