United States Government - Semester 1

This is a fully online, self-paced course designed for high school students. This US Government & Citizenship course helps students develop the knowledge and skills needed to be engaged, responsible citizens. Students will explore the fundamental principles, protections, privileges, structures, and economic systems that shape American life, gaining a thorough understanding of how the U.S. political system operates. The course also prepares students to successfully complete the United States Citizenship exam required for graduation, demonstrating mastery of essential civic knowledge. (Semester 1 of 2)

This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course that includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
