Psychology (Grades 6-8) - Semester 1

This fully online, self-paced course offers an interactive exploration of human behavior. Students examine major psychologists and theories while exploring topics such as perception, motivation, emotion, personality, stress, psychological disorders, gender, adolescent development, parenting, and social interaction. The course is designed to deepen understanding of oneself and others, while promoting personal growth, empathy, and critical thinking about human behavior.

This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course that includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
