Physical Science with Mentor Teacher Support - Semester 2

This fully online, self-paced Physical Science course explores the fundamental principles of matter and energy, integrating concepts from both chemistry and physics. (Semester 2 of 2)

Students examine the properties of matter, including elements, mixtures, compounds, and the periodic table. The course also covers chemical reactions, light, the electromagnetic spectrum, energy, heat, motion, Newton’s laws, and momentum. Emphasis is placed on scientific reasoning, problem-solving, and the application of concepts to real-world situations.
