This is a fully online, self-paced course designed for high school students. Explore the foundational questions of human thought in this introductory Philosophy course. Examine classical and contemporary ideas about truth, knowledge, the mind and body, freedom, and ethics. This covers the full-year, including Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Through engaging readings, critical discussions, and reflective activities, students will develop their reasoning, analytical thinking, and argumentation skills while exploring diverse philosophical perspectives. This course encourages curiosity, thoughtful inquiry, and the ability to evaluate ideas and beliefs.
This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
