Nursing Assistant

This competency-based course prepares students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to assess, plan, provide, and evaluate care for patients in a variety of healthcare settings. Through interactive videos, students will learn about infection control, personal care, mental health needs, and legal responsibilities. Using virtual reality, students will practice obtaining and recording vital signs, identifying basic body parts, assisting with wheelchairs and ambulation, and performing a modified bed bath.

Upon completion, students will gain the knowledge and skills to earn a digital badge as a Nursing Assistant and will be better prepared for the certification exam. This course provides a strong foundation for students seeking a competitive edge in the global healthcare field.
