Minecraft STEAM Foundations (Grades 2-5) - Semester 1

Grades 2–5. Turn your child’s love for Minecraft into a meaningful learning experience with this fully online, self-paced course. Minecraft STEAM Foundations combines the fun of the game with the exploration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) concepts.

In this course, students dive into creative building, problem-solving, and design challenges within the Minecraft world. They apply key STEAM principles—such as physics, geometry, and engineering—while building structures, solving puzzles, and collaborating with others. Each project encourages critical thinking and hands-on learning, making complex concepts accessible and engaging.

By the end of the semester, students will have developed a deeper understanding of STEAM concepts while learning within the world of Minecraft.

Ideal for: Young learners who enjoy Minecraft and want to explore how the game connects to real-world science, technology, and creativity.

This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child. This is a 1 semester course.
