LEGO® Genetics - Semester 1

This fully online, self-paced Genetics: Lego Edition course introduces students to the fundamental principles of genetics through interactive, hands-on activities. (Semester 1 of 1)

Students explore inheritance, dominant and recessive traits, genetic variation, Punnett squares, and patterns of heredity using Lego models to represent genetic concepts. By constructing and experimenting with these models, learners develop a concrete understanding of abstract genetic principles and how they apply to living organisms. This course emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and the application of scientific reasoning in a creative, interactive learning environment.

This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
