This self-paced, online course introduces kindergarten students to basic social studies concepts through fun, age-appropriate lessons. Students explore family, community, and school, learning about roles, responsibilities, and the importance of cooperation and respect. The course also covers culture, traditions, celebrations, and basic geography, including maps and community landmarks. Interactive activities, stories, and games help young learners develop social awareness and empathy in a flexible, supportive environment.
Parents are supported through an online platform with expert guidance and practical resources. They gain insights into their child’s learning needs, including diagnoses such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, or intellectual disabilities, and receive strategies tailored to visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning styles. The platform provides activities to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, essential for early academic success.
Parents also learn adaptive approaches to support social and emotional development. Accessible educational tools, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), help customize learning for each child. Families have access to downloadable resources, a supportive community, and professional guidance to nurture social understanding throughout the course.
This course includes six months of access to all materials and resources. To learn more about our courses, visit https://onfirelearning.com/course-catalog/.
