This self-paced, online course introduces kindergarten students to foundational early literacy skills through engaging, interactive lessons. Students develop phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and basic phonics, learning to connect sounds with letters and simple words. Stories, songs, and hands-on activities build vocabulary, listening comprehension, and early reading readiness. Designed to foster a love of reading, the course builds confidence and prepares young learners for success in reading and writing within a flexible, supportive online environment.
Parents of neurodivergent learners are supported through a dedicated online platform with expert guidance and practical resources. They gain insight into their child’s unique learning needs, including diagnoses such as autism, dyslexia, intellectual disability, or ADHD, and receive strategies tailored to visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning styles. The platform includes activities to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, essential for writing readiness and overall academic development.
Parents also learn adaptive approaches to support literacy growth at their child’s own pace. Accessible educational tools, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), help customize instruction for each learner. Families have access to downloadable resources, a supportive community, and ongoing professional guidance throughout the course.
This course includes six months of access to all materials and resources. To learn more about our courses, visit https://onfirelearning.com/course-catalog/.
