This is a fully online, self-paced course. This Introduction to Music History course is designed for students with a solid foundation in music, whether through formal training or self-teaching. Students will deepen their understanding of musical structure, notation, and language, while advancing their musicianship. The course covers music theory, rhythm, melody, harmony, form, texture, ear training, composition, and arranging. Analyze classical, popular, and jazz works, and explore your own musical interests. (Middle and High School versions available upon request) (Semester 1 of 1)
This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
