This self-paced, online course introduces students to the fundamentals of human communication in both personal and professional contexts. Sudents will explore key concepts such as verbal and nonverbal communication, active listening, interpersonal relationships, and the role of culture and technology in shaping how we communicate.
Through lessons, reflection activities, and real-world examples, students will learn how to express themselves clearly, interpret messages effectively, and build strong communication habits. Emphasis is placed on building confidence, empathy, and critical thinking as students begin to understand the power of effective communication in everyday life. (Semester 2 of 2)
This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
We also offer this course as an Accredited Course that includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
