This self-paced, online course introduces third-grade students to core scientific concepts across life, earth, and physical science. Students explore plant and animal life cycles, habitats, weather and climate, forces and motion, and the properties of matter through interactive lessons and hands-on activities. The course fosters curiosity, encourages observation, and develops critical thinking skills. Designed for flexible learning, students progress at their own pace while building a solid foundation in scientific inquiry and understanding.
Parents of neurodivergent learners are supported through a dedicated online platform offering expert guidance and practical resources. Parents gain insight into their child’s unique learning needs, including diagnoses such as autism, dyslexia, intellectual disability, or ADHD, and learn strategies aligned with visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning styles. The platform includes at-home activities to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, supporting experiments, recording observations, and other academic tasks.
Parents also receive respectful, adaptive strategies to support their child’s scientific exploration and growth. Accessible educational tools, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), help customize instruction for each learner. Families have access to downloadable resources, a supportive community, and ongoing professional guidance throughout the course.
This course includes six months of access to all materials and resources. To learn more about our dynamic and engaging courses, visit https://onfirelearning.com/course-catalog/.
