Geology - Semester 1

This fully online, self-paced Geology course provides a comprehensive study of Earth's physical structure and the processes that shape our planet.

Students examine rocks and minerals, the rock cycle, plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanoes, weathering, erosion, and the formation of Earth’s landforms. The course emphasizes scientific investigation, data analysis, and the interpretation of geological evidence to understand Earth’s dynamic systems.

Through guided activities and analytical exercises, students develop critical thinking skills while exploring the forces that continually reshape the planet.

This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
