This fully online, self-paced Environmental Science course provides an interdisciplinary study of the natural world, integrating principles from biology, chemistry, and physics. (Semester 1 of 2) Students examine ecosystems, population dynamics, natural resource management, energy use, pollution, and environmental policy. Emphasis is placed on understanding the interactions between human activity and natural systems, as well as developing critical thinking and evidence-based problem-solving skills.
Through guided investigations and analytical activities, students explore real-world environmental challenges and evaluate sustainable solutions.
This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
We also offer this course as an Accredited Course that includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
