This is a fully online, self-paced course. This course provides students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional business setting. As a core component of the course, students will complete a 12-week internship at a business of their choice—paid or unpaid—allowing them to apply classroom concepts in an authentic work environment. (Semester 1 of 1)
Throughout the internship, students will track and report weekly hours, complete structured reflection activities, and evaluate their professional growth. Emphasis is placed on workplace readiness, communication skills, problem-solving, leadership development, and professional responsibility. This course bridges academic learning with practical experience, helping students build confidence and career-focused skills for future success in business and entrepreneurship.
This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
We also offer this course as an Accredited Course that includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
