This is a fully online, self-paced course designed for high school students (Semester 1 of 1). In this Economics course, students will explore key concepts and principles of economics relevant to everyday life and future career interests. Topics include supply and demand, competition, production, taxation, government influence, and the stock market. Students will also participate in a hands-on computer simulation where they create and manage their own companies, gaining practical experience in entrepreneurship, management, and business operations.
This course is ideal for students interested in fields such as business, finance, real estate, merchandising, or entrepreneurship, providing a strong foundation for success in a variety of career paths. Both middle and high school versions are available upon request.
This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
We also offer this course as an Accredited Course that includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
