Accredited Creative Writing (Grades 6-8) - Semesters 1 & 2

This is a fully online, self-paced course. This middle school creative writing course helps students develop the habits, attitudes, and responsibilities of a creative writer. Students create, develop, and refine original descriptive writing. Through the exploration of genres such as short stories, poetry, and screenplays, students strengthen their creative writing techniques while developing their own unique writing style. This covers the full-year, including Semester 1 and Semester 2.

This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
