Accredited Chemistry - Semester 1

This fully online, self-paced Chemistry course allows students to earn high school credit. Successful completion fulfills the Utah state graduation requirement for a physical science course. (Semester 1 of 2)

The course introduces fundamental principles of chemistry, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, stoichiometry, and the properties of matter. Students develop an understanding of chemical theories and concepts while strengthening their ability to interpret chemical symbols, formulas, and equations. Emphasis is placed on analytical reasoning and real-world applications of chemistry.
