Accredited Art History - Semester 1

This is a fully online, self-paced course. Art History is a comprehensive high school course that explores art and architecture within historical, social, geographical, political, and cultural contexts. Students will examine artistic movements and major works from ancient civilizations to modern times, organized by world regions and chronological periods. (Semester 1 of 1)

Through guided analysis and thematic study, students will gain a broad understanding of how art reflects and shapes societies across time. The course fosters critical thinking, visual analysis skills, and a deeper appreciation for the historical and cultural significance of art around the world.

This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
