Accredited Art Foundations - Semesters 1 & 2

This is a fully online, self-paced course designed for middle or high school students (available upon request). This covers the full-year, including Semester 1 and Semester 2. In Art Foundations, students develop their understanding and application of various art media and techniques while building foundational artistic skills. Through hands-on projects and creative exploration, students experiment with elements of art and principles of design.

Students will also study diverse artists and artistic styles, expanding their appreciation of art across cultures and time periods. This course encourages creativity, critical observation, and the ability to recognize aesthetic elements in everyday surroundings.

This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
