This is a fully online, self-paced course designed for students in Grades 9–12. Introduction to Architecture explores the dynamic relationship between art, science, history, and design. Students will examine how architecture influences the way people live, work, and interact within their communities. This covers the full-year, including Semester 1 and Semester 2.

Throughout the course, students will study foundational principles such as form, function, structure, scale, and sustainability. They will analyze architectural styles from ancient civilizations to modern skyscrapers, explore the stories behind iconic structures, and complete creative design projects that encourage sketching, spatial planning, and problem-solving.

This is our Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher Support, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. A dedicated teacher provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.

Parents can still participate by reviewing assignments, viewing answer keys, and providing additional feedback to their child.
