Accredited Archaeology: Shipwrecks & Ancient Treasures - Semester 1

This is a fully online, self-paced course. Archaeology: Shipwrecks & Ancient Treasures invites students to explore lost worlds through the study of maritime history and underwater archaeology. Investigate famous shipwrecks, analyze artifacts, and examine the scientific methods used to uncover and preserve ancient discoveries. (Semester 1 of 1)

Through research-based activities and case studies, students will learn how archaeologists interpret evidence to reconstruct the past and understand the cultural significance of maritime exploration and trade. This course builds critical thinking skills while offering insight into careers in archaeology, history, and museum studies.

This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
