Accredited Early Childhood Education

This self-paced, online course provides a foundation in Early Childhood Education, preparing students for careers in early childhood education and related services. Students will develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors needed to support the optimal growth and development of infants, toddlers, and children. Topics include health and safety, cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development. Using virtual reality, students practice curriculum planning, room arrangement, lesson presentation, and engaging children in gross motor activities.

Upon completion, students will earn a digital badge in Early Childhood Education and be better prepared for the Early Childhood certification exam.

This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
