This self-paced, online course provides an overview of fundamental culinary skills and standard practices for students pursuing a career in Culinary Arts. Students will learn essential techniques, including knife handling, tool and equipment use, recipe preparation, and ingredient measurement. The course emphasizes proper food safety, sanitation, and industry-recognized best practices. Using virtual reality, students will practice preparing recipes while managing time, measuring accurately, and using kitchen equipment effectively.
Upon completion, students will earn a digital badge in Culinary Arts and be better prepared for the certification exam.
This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
