7th Grade Language Arts with Mentor Teacher Support - Semester 2

This Language Arts 7 course helps students strengthen their writing skills by focusing on three main types of writing: argumentative, informative/explanatory, and narrative. The course is designed to help students develop their writing in terms of organization, development, and style, with attention to audience and purpose. Students analyze a range of literary and informational texts as models for effective writing. The course also encourages the exploration of diverse perspectives and cultures through reading and listening activities. Successful completion of this course fulfills the seventh-grade English requirement. This course represents Semester 2 of 2.
