This is a fully online, self-paced Fifth Grade Social Studies course. Students explore essential ideas and events in United States history, including Exploration and Colonization, the Beginnings of Self-Government, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, the Expansive 19th Century, and the United States on the World Stage. By organizing U.S. history into comprehensible sections, students are supported in developing their own understanding of historical events and concepts.
This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child. This course represents Semester 2 of 2 semesters.
We also offer this course as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
