This is a fully online, self-paced Fourth Grade Science course. The course provides a framework for students to construct explanations of how structures support growth, behavior, and survival in plants and animals. Students analyze and interpret fossil data to examine evidence of stability and change in ancient organisms and environments. They plan and carry out investigations demonstrating that energy can be transferred by sound, light, heat, and electrical currents. Students also analyze data and construct explanations of how the Sun and Earth interact.
This is our Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher Support, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. A dedicated teacher provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success. This course represents Semester 1 of 2 semesters.
Parents can still participate by reviewing assignments, viewing answer keys, and providing additional feedback to their child.
