This is a fully online, self-paced Third Grade Social Studies course. Students build conceptual understandings of community, culture, and government. They learn basic geographic terms and features necessary for human settlement and success. Students apply their understanding of culture and community as they study Indigenous cultures of the Americas. They also explore the rights and responsibilities central to representative government.
This is our Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher Support, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. A dedicated teacher provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success. This course represents Semester 2 of 2 semesters.
Parents can still participate by reviewing assignments, viewing answer keys, and providing additional feedback to their child.
