This self-paced, online middle school course introduces students to the exciting world of 3D modeling using Blender, a free and powerful design software. Students learn to create and shape 3D objects, apply colors and textures, and build simple scenes. The course encourages creativity and problem-solving as students develop digital models they can use in animations, games, or art projects.
Through guided projects designed for beginners, students gain hands-on experience with Blender’s tools and interface. This course provides a strong foundation for further exploration in 3D art, design, and technology (Semester 1 of 1).
This is our Accredited Course version, which includes an official transcript and earned credit. This course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child.
We also offer this course as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
