This is a fully online, self-paced Second Grade Science course. Students construct explanations for how matter on Earth's surface changes. They investigate how living things survive in different habitats and how their body structures support their needs. Students use models to explain the forms and properties of matter and design solutions to problems related to these areas of study.
This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child. This course covers the full year, including Semester 1 and Semester 2.
We also offer this course as an Accredited Course, which includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
