1st Grade Social Studies - Semester 1

This is a fully online, self-paced First Grade Social Studies course. Students focus on learning elements of good citizenship through examples in history and literature that highlight honesty, kindness, and responsibility. State and national symbols, as signs of citizen unity, are also addressed, along with the development of basic economic skills.

This version of the course is designed for independent learning and is not teacher supported or graded. Parents have the ability to grade assignments, view answer keys, and provide feedback to their child. This course represents Semester 1 of 2 semesters.

We also offer this course as an Accredited Course, which includes an official transcript and earned credit, or as an Accredited Course with Mentor Teacher, which adds a dedicated teacher who provides grading, feedback, and ongoing support to guide your student’s success.
